WYOMING GOVERNOR’S MATCH RETURNS TO CASPER IN 2024

Through the support of Governor Mark Gordon’s Office, Wyoming Outdoor Recreation and Casper Shooters Club are thrilled to announce the eighth annual Wyoming Governor’s Match, presented by Vortex Optics, will be held July 19-21, 2024 in Casper, Wyoming at the Stuckenhoff Shooting Complex for the fourth year in a row.

This national-level shooting sports competition originated in 2017 and has become a tradition for many, bringing together spectators, shooting sports organizations, legislators, and other elected officials to interact with some of the nation’s greatest competition shooters. The Governor’s Match will feature up to 250 competitive shooters in a USPSA Level II match. Members of the public are welcome to come and watch the event. 

In addition to the match, organizers are currently working with Visit Casper, the National Shooting Sports Foundation and other local organizations to host additional events throughout the weekend that highlight Wyoming’s growing outdoor recreation economy. These include Wyoming Outdoor Recreation’s annual Hunting, Shooting Sports and Outdoor Recreation Legislative Panel, and for the second year in a row, the Wyoming Firearms & Outdoor Recreation Expo.
