Explore Wyoming

Wyoming is home to millions of acres of forests, high plains desert, dramatic mountain landscapes, wide-open prairies and miles of rivers and streams - an outdoor recreationalist's paradise!

Not only is outdoor recreation made possible by Wyoming's diverse and unique landscapes, but collaboration and partnerships amongst federal, state and private landholders provides abundant opportunities for hiking, biking, camping, hunting, fishing, climbing, trail riding, and so much more for our state's residents and visitors.

Wyoming's Office of Outdoor Recreation aims to diversify Wyoming’s economy by expanding, enhancing, and promoting responsible recreational opportunities through collaboration, outreach, and coordination with stakeholders, landowners, private industry, and public officials.
