The Southeast Wyoming Outdoor Recreation Collaborative (SWORC) represents communities within Albany and Carbon counties. The collaborative got its start in late 2021 and has since been supporting projects that will add to the highly valued recreation opportunities in these counties. SWORC works with public land managers, government, county tourism, businesses, outdoor recreation organizations and the University of Wyoming to foster new ideas and alleviate the issues on public lands that have emerged in recent years. One of the collaborative’s goals is to provide access to residents as well as an increasing number of visitors.
